Use Finolex Agriculture Rubber Lubricant for pipes and fittings with rubber rings. Apply an even layer on the ring and the pipe’s outer diameter.

Packs: 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1000 g plastic containers.

PVC-U solvent cement for pipes up to 110 mm (4”), and heavy-duty solvent cement above 110 mm — both as per IS 14182.

Approx. joints per litre: 300 at 20 mm · 50 at 110 mm · 2 at 400 mm. Full table under Technical Details.
  • Store on a flat surface
  • Stack criss-cross, sockets facing outwards
  • Keep stacks no higher than 1 metre
  • Do not expose pipes to sunlight

Recommended for water temperatures from 1°C to 45°C. As usage temperature increases, pipe strength and working pressure reduce. Occasional summer peaks with cooler nights have no adverse effect on working pressure.

  • Lay pipes on a firm, soft surface — never on rocky ground or near sharp objects
  • Not suitable for waterlogged areas
  • Never lay on stilts, stubbed columns or supports
  • Normally laid 1 m below ground (excluding pipe OD), deep enough to avoid damage from vehicles
  • Ringfit joints offer up to 2° of movement per joint
